Hilton Head Island

While at Hilton Head we went to Harbor Town and saw this lighthouse.
Here is one view of the kitchen and dining area of the condo that we stayed in. It was very spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, a big living area and dining and kitchen and laundry room.
A view from the beach.
We rented bikes for the day and went riding on the beach for about 4 hours, then we went to a time share presentation. They gave us some money and we went out to dinner. I had to go the the Goodwill store and bought this jacket. It was colder than I thought.

Washington DC with Gram and Grampa

Here we are with
Grandma and Grandpa in Washington DC- In front of the Washington Monument. It was the first time they had ever seen it.
Here we are in front of the Jefferson Memorial. After this we went to the capital building and drove up behind it to see the Supreme Court Building. Right as we drove by the Justices were all walking out with their wives.

Heavy frost on Sunday

This is the view out of our bedroom window this am. Happy daylight savings. It was a heavy enough frost to kill the flowers on the front porch.

Sectional Game

Ellie the German exchange student who has helped with the team

On Thursday night Hayley and her team played the 2nd game in the sectional tournament. It was quite a thrill because they were not even supposed to win any games, let alone make it to the 2nd. they played against Penfield and it was a very close game. They won the 1st 2 games and then lost the 3rd. The 4th game was very close 25-23 Penfield. Therefore the 5th game was very exciting but they lost it 25-23 again. Penfield was worried. Here was this team with a terrible record and they came out of nowhere to almost win.
Here is Hayley and some of her teammates looking very stressed and worried. Top pic is after the game-Hayley's last high school vball game- Tears and sadness!! Now she can concentrate on real life.
